West London Zone is continuing to grow in 2021-22 in line with our 5-year strategy to support 3,000 children and young people a year by 2025. We have a big ambition - and we are focused on one place. We believe that the impact of COVID-19 has increased the need for personalised social, emotional and academic support for young people in our Zone and that the WLZ programme has never been more needed in West London.
This year we will work with 1,308 children and young people in 45 settings including nursery, primary and secondary schools and sixth form colleges across Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham, Brent and Westminster. This includes partnering with 12 new schools:
Primary schools - Mitchell Brook Primary School, Lyon Park Primary School, Brentfield Primary School, Donnington Primary School and Salusbury Primary School, Pimlico Primary School and Churchill Gardens.
Secondary schools - Harris Academy St. Johns Wood, Marylebone Boys’ School, Paddington Academy, Fulham Cross Academy and Phoenix Academy.
By working in more schools in our Zone we can be truly 'deep' in our place - supporting children across our community and working together to impact a generation of young people in West London.
